Well as my familly is beginning to grow larger I need a bigger/better truck than my RCSB Hemi can offer. The problem I am looking at now is that i need a 4 door pickup but if I get a 4 door truck to replace mycurrent oneI want it to be a Cummins dieseland not a hemi. So what are the pros and cons that you guys have ran accross with your diesels?

Well for one there to dam fast and you don't want to go around grinning all day like the rest of us.

A Cummins Turbo Diesel is like crack, next thing you know you willbe running around town smoking ricers just for fun, and your right mirror will all ways be tilted so you can see your tail pipe pour out the smoke on a hard take off.

The faster you make them the better the fuel mileage gets and don't even getting me talking how it pulls heavy trailer or handles a load

I wish my mileage was that high, It will get there I hope though. I only have like 8500 onk the ticker....

Edge in February will get things mokin nicely when I want it and hopefully will show a slight MPG gain when I want it

Pros - Smile every time I drive the thing.
Cons - Didnt get one sooner.

If you have a growing family, seriously consider the mega-cab. I don't tow a lot, but I added the tow mirrors and really like them.

just my two cents.

That was on the big road and I don't get the winter fuel down here and Florida is mostly flat.

As for the question am I going to do anything to the truck as soon as the money gets flowing again, things are slow still in the housing market, but I hoping now that people will e staying in there house for a longer time now that the remodeling work picks up and I get my share, my next big buy is going to have to be tires, as mine have 52000 miles on them
