yah i just e-mailed the guys at sun coast and the gave me some prices.

PLSD-48RE-4X Transmission $2,695.00
2361844-3D Torque converter $1,295.00
618-HSA Billet input shaft and hub $742.00
618-LFP Laminated flexplate $432.00

i estimated that it will cost about six to six and a half grand after taxes and shipping. are there products worth it? like i understand the have some durable transmissions but is it worth it for that price?

How much hp/tq would be safe with a set up like that?

thats for a tranny rated at 450-500 hp with over 1000 fpt

true..

my truck is on the shop getting fixed under warrenty....if this happens again within the next 6 months of the warrenty, here is what I plan to do...this is the email suncoast sent me (bryan)

pretty sure it is the same list that was posted above..but lets see!

Chris,

Thanks for your interest in our products.
At your power level I would recommend the following products;

028907EHP Extreme duty rebuild kit $542.00
2361844-3D Torque converter 1,295.00
618-HSA Billet input shaft and hub 742.00
618-LFP Laminated flexplate 432.00

We also offer an upgraded valve body that will provide full time lube flow and converter feed as well as giving you a quicker firmer shift. P/N 618829902 $438.00 plus a refundable $200.00 core charge.
Our torque converters have a two year unlimited mileage warranty.
I have attached information for all of our Dodge upgrades for your review.
If I may be of any further assistance please contact us at your convenience.

Thanks again,
Barry Bright
