I traded my HEMI in on a new CTD back in July because the gas on the HEMI was just killing me!!!

Great truck though......

Even though the new HEMI's are not really HEMI's haha

I traded my HEMI in for my CTD back in August. I liked the HEMI, but I couldn't crack 15 mpg even on the highway. It was a good truck though.

I thought the new Hemi's still had a hemispherical combustion chamber, therefore making them still hemi's??

Don't get a hemi dude, if you are looking for cheap just get a 1500 standard cab long bed 2x4 with the 4.7and an auto (so the wife can still use it while you are gone). I had a 06 ram QC short bed with the 4.7 and it was pletty of engine to get around with, and prolly didn't get any worse (prolly not much better either) gas mileage than a hemi. My last truck is the one that made me fall in love with the rams, all I needed then was the best engine to go with it .

I wouldnt own another 4.7 if my life depended on it. My 02 1500 QC only had 125000 miles on it and it was a gutless wonder. I only got 12.5 mpg if I was lucky. The 4.7 is the reason I got a CTD. I wanted a truck with a real motor in it imo.

Mpg isn't that important on this truck. I will only get drove about 5 days a month. It will just be something to take to the woods and get a little muddy and to haul trash to the green boxes. The only things that I want for sure is a 4x4, and a back seat for a car seat so my boy can run around with me. might even get an older model with a magnum.

My wife found this one, They don't have a picture of it but my wife said it looks really nice.
