is it me or using corn for making fuel to save money instead of using corn to make food to feed people is just plain wrong?

the planet is not making enough food for all and rich country are using food to make fuel to get richer

ive read that corn is one of the lowest yelding crop to produce bio but because farmer already got all the equipment and know how to produce corn they use this instead of colza and so on....

here's the thing. . .milk and beef prices in my area have shot WAY up reciently, all because of this push for ethanol. ethanol is made from corn, cows have corn in their feed, I hope you can see where I am going with this. . . .these enviro wackies need to do just this

Bio Diesel is made with Soybeans my French Canadian friend Corn is used in ethanol production, actually switch grass is better for making ethanol, there is just no infastructure for switch grass yet. Im not a tree hugger but being from the heart of Ethanol Country I dont think its our answer. Just my 2 cents

Bio diesel isn't even the solution. If you calculate it out, every square mile of farmable land in theUS would have to be growing corn and soybeans to produce enough ethenol and bio diesel to meet our oil demands.

we must cultivate or grown crop in vertical state, like algae in vertical translucent containers maybe,
so this way we can produce alot using small land portion.

we use way too much combustion engine...just imagine the volume of oil used by boats to transport cheap china stuff here and this cheap stuff goes into trash fast...

Atlantis use 2'000'000 litres of Hydrogen for his 8.5min flight into space....
where only speaking of combustible, not comburant yet.....

we trash tons of oil each day for bad reasons....
