I bet that 7.3 is tight in that engine compartment. I can't image working on it.

it's really not that loud. It is part of the reason for the two subs though... they cancel out the engine :-)

yeah, it's very tight in there but, the center console comes out too which opens it up a bunch be worked on. It's just turn 100K so it's still a baby and hasn't needed any work. I'm looking for 300K or more which for a 7.3 isn't uncommon at all ^L^

Idrove a 96 2WD with the 7.3. It was pretty amazing. plenty powerful and could get 18-19 mpg loaded. I can't imagine one with a programer. Very nice.
