It shifts into 4 Hi nice and smooth. When I try to shift to 4 Lo the shifter won't even move. I tried it going real slow and stopped, I can't even get into nuetral. Any Ideas?

Do you have the truck in neutral when you try it? I know mine won't go in unless the truck itself is in neutral.

 

truck transmissionmust be in neutral, rolling slowly at approx 2-3mph; shift FIRMLY from 2H to 4L directly - DO NOT STOP the shft in N.
same technique to get it out.

 

They are right... that's how I've always had to do it....

I have had that problem with some women gettin on all 4's !!!

 

we had 3 ft of snow up on the mountain this weekend. They are still looking for some tourist that got lost.

I couldn't believe how cold it got up there. NO WAY i was gonna be cold in Hawaii !!

 

You really don't have to be rolling, it will engage once you start to move. I know the manual says it but, like Hilo mentioned, it wouldn't be much good if you were stuck. I have always had to put mine in neutral though.
