maybe a stupid question??
So, what caues the barking on a diesel, no throttle blades no obstructions, the only thing that changes is the supply of fuel, My theory is rpm lowers enough to (pack) the cylinders with air, still the exgaust valves are still opening, so air is still flowing. Ive worked on these thigs along time, but the more I think about it the more questions I have. Bring on the worms!
sounds like this guys got money to burn... i've always wanted a supra. maybe when he wrecks it i can buy it off him real cheap and then fix it up

woli turbo barking happens when you got your foot in it building some boost and let off real quick. Every vehical with a turbo will do it unless they got a blow off valve.

mine just makes a high pitch whine as it slows down. no "barking" per se`.
