Default Hey There

Hey everyone, I've been looking at this site for a while and I finally figured I'd join. A little bout myself, I'm a diesel fan, always have been. Now thing is, I'm a powerstroke tech, so yeah I work for Ford but I'm definitely a Cummins fan. But the way I look at it is that I have job security, because I never have a shortage of trucks to work on. I don't own a Cummins at the moment, just an 06 Hemi, but next truck will definitely be one. So if any of you guys have any questions on the Ford trucks, I can fill ya in.

yeah the new 6.4's do too, the radiators are poor quality and we are replacing them right and left, I've had a few trucks with less than 20k on the clock and on their 3rd radiator. Oh and I just love ford's idea to cram everything into that engine bay and then make it where you have to remove the cab to do anything to it.

Im hearing some gripes about the 6.4 MPG"s from some of my customers. Some are saying 9 to 12, That would make a guy sick after dumping 50k on a truck [:'(]

Yes we've had customers complain alot about that, but hey they can thank the EPA and their emissions crap for that one.

Oh yeah? I think International puts out some good engines, but IMO the 6.0 and 6.4 in the Ford's are not one of them. Do ya'll have as many problems with those engines in non-ford trucks?

No one seems to be buying the medium duty trucks with the 6.4 in them. We haven't seen a single one yet. As for the 6.0, we don't have as many problems with them as ford does but I am sick and tired of reconditioning turbos, replacing stc fitting on the hp pump, replacing injectors, and egr coolers.
