That Harley thing kinda hit home a bit.

For whatever reason, my year scoot blows tailights all of the time. I ride with a spare in my bag at all times as well as a screwdriver. It's not uncommon for it to work when you left, but then from the vibration to pull the element apart. I've tried the heavy duty / multiple element bulbs to no avail. I bet I replaced about 3 last year alone.

Do they make LED bulbs that would fit?
They might last longer.

Or, is that too ricey?
A friend of mine replaced his tailight with an LED setup. What a PITA !!! You need some sort of module that you hafta wire in. My friends light WORKS, but it is dim as $hit because we think his module or something is bad. Too much of a PITA for me until they get the whole thing more streamlined and fine tuned.

Riv - I've thought about doing the sign thing. If I don't get any response from my emails, that's what I'll probably do.
