I need to know if you can program a 2003 cummins with the high idle by using the cruise control. I was wanting to get this done. If you could help out it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Automatics w/ cruise can have it enabled at the dealership. Pretty sure there is no problem w/ 03's/.

 

I think you can do it for manuals too.

 

yah you can for manuals too it just requires somthing else( i cant remember).

Bully Dog Triple Dog, I have the ability to set my high idle with the cruise.

 

I will never consider Bully Dog to anyone or put any bully dog on my truck again. They screwed my truck bad and cost me a lot of money.

for the high idle on all 3rd gen auto's. turn on the cruise then push the set button. . .if the engine does not jump to 1100rpm then you need to run it by the dealer to get it enabled. if the engine does jump to 1100, then you can use the accell and decell buttons to raise and lower engine RPM's 100rpm for each push.

manuals have the same deal. . .however we need a ground wire to go on ECM plug B pin 22.

 

so i have an 06 manual all i have to do is splice/ add a ground to that pin 22 on connector B, also is it an add wire or just supply to a wire that already is there?
