While I’m away
I’m less then 20 hours away from heading down to Des Moines, IA so that I can catch a flight to Portland OR and then driving down to Eugene for my daughters wedding on the 29th.
Being we all brag about how well a Cummins engine will start when its cold out, I’ll get to see first hand just how well it will do after setting for 2 weeks at the airport without being plugged in with overnight temps at or below zero.
Anyway you all have a very Merry Christmas. Oh and keep Mayfair inline that is if its even possible [sm=escape.gif]

when I came back from Iowa back in feb it was quite cold here in the Atl area. . .needless to say I fumigated the entire 2 acre parking lot. . .I guess it didnt help any that I had the TST cranked by accident from playing with the mustang crowd.

You should be fine! I don't even bother to plug mine in until it gets down to below zero! Just looked at the ten day forcast for Des Moines and the coldest it is supposed to get is 15 degrees above. You should be fine!

Steve,
I will be adding 10oz of PS anti gel just to be safe as I heard about few people who had problems with his fuel yesterday and he bought at the place I do. If it weren’t for the report from the postmaster I would not be adding anything to my fuel as they normally have great winterized 100% #2 diesel that’s good to –30 below zero.
1Normy,
As for the weather I don’t trust the weatherman at all at forecasting temps 10 days out let alone 2. Two nights ago they said the low was to be 12 degrees and yet it got down to 2 and that is not the first time they have been off by up to 10 degrees.
Mayfair,
No I’m not 100% sure he’s the right guy. But I will be telling him that if he ever hurts her he best be looking over his shoulder all of his life as he will not know when or where I will find him and make him Hurt even more. Oh, make sure you keep and eye on cumminalong so that he doesn’t get in to much trouble while he’s back in the states.
Drew,
We all know it doesn’t get very cold in Atl. Being your use to warmer temps you were still dreaming that it was cold when you got back home. I mean come on it was a lot warmer and you also had less wind in Des Moines then we had 120 miles north [
]You all have a great Christmas and I’ll see ya all when I get back next year.
