I have worked for the county for 12 years now. About a month ago, I was offered a job in Atwood Kansas as a gun shop manager / gunsmith for an all new gun shop. I can't wait until January 18th, my last day with the county. I told the county commissioners what it would take to keep me and they didn't seem to think that it was worth $1000 to keep me. Oh well, I will be taking the new job for $17,000 more that the county was paying me.

I was the Emergency Manager for my county and built the program from the ground up, I was the first full time EM in the history of the county. Before that I worked as a Sheriff's deputy for over 10 years.

I will get to play with guns every day. Woo Hoo......

Oh yeah I'm the only wife on the planet that wouldn't make her hubby sleep on the couch for a month for buying ammo / pistols for Valentines Day.

My wife and I agreed that I would buy no guns until some of our bills are paid off. We gotta pay off them damn triple paned windows we bought a couple of years ago. That's $100 a month that will be freed up.
