Probably gonna get kicked off here but here goes, We can all see that you guys are great with the photo shop, But I am SICK AND TIRED of your thread hijacking bull****!!!! You start your own (look what I can do!) threads and kick a real topic off the front page fine, if you want too, great! But If you dont have a real answer for a guys question then take your childish **** and make you own Thread! God knows you know how. I am sure you will erase this but let us at least answer the guys question!!!!!!!

not a single post on this thread was a 'look what i can do'. there was a comment and a response. and neither one had any photoshop involved.

i'm not trying to start a fight and i don't want to argue

and there's no reason why you should think you would be kicked off for stating your opinion. thats what every one of us does everyday. yes this is a great site for information and help, and 9 times out of 10, if someone has/know an opinon/answer that is relevant to the question, it will be voiced. however, it is human nature to try to enjoy yourself, and this is a good way for people who can't really go anywhere to have a little fun, and with no real harm to boot.

I have the same weird ping/knock... It is only noticeable when I am at a stop light, ideling, andon the brake;and is suttle but heard when going up a hill. Once things level out, headdown the roador I take it out of gear, it is gone. Not sure what it is myself, I guess I was hoping it was normal. I did think valve needing adjustment or something else...like the fuel I am getting wich is USLD.Not to sure but it does bother me and was considering havingan expertlisten to it this week for me. Mine is an 06 5.9L auto with 31,000 miles.

Do you have any mods?
Maybe injector rattle?

You could try putting a quart of two stroke oil in on your next fill up and see if that quiets things down.

Otherwise, check your valve lash. There is a 3rd gen DIY writeup I did in the DIY thread at the top.

If it still does it, take a 3' piece of garden hose and hold one end up to your ear and put the other end at various places around the engine and it will help you locate where the noise is coming from. Then report back with your findings.

Well I dropped it off at the dealer and the service guy said they found where the noise was coming from. He wasn't sure about what it was but said it should be fixed by this afternoon. I will keep you all posted. Thanks again for the help!!

no argument here.

my first post was a serious question on this matter. some people forget they have a warranty and try to fix it themselves.

my second post here was a bit ..no, really far.. no , hold on [sm=confused06.gif]
it was WAY out to left field funny none the less

so yes, seriousness is not a fantasy on this site.

sorry if I struck a cord with you [sm=deal.gif][sm=icon_cheers.gif]
