Boost PSI
Just got finished installing the boost, EGT, and fuel pressure gauges today. Took longer than I thought it would but at my age everything takes longer to do. On the test drive I punched it and blue off the boost tube on the gauge end. It popped up to 30PSI before the tube came off. (Maybe I didn't have it on all the way). I have a 30PSI gauge should I have the 60PSI gauge? Running the Smarty JR at stage 1 setting right now. How many PSI boost are you guys running with the Smarty Jr and at what settings.

RE: Boost PSI
I take it you have a HPCR engine. . .I would say 35psi is where she went to. . .which is normal for even a stock truck. I have a 35psi gage and there are MANY times I wish I had a 60. besides, with the stock turbo you dont want to push much more than 40-45 or your EGT's will get out of control.
I had the same issue you have when I installed mine. . .first time I gave her all she had I heard the ppppsssssshhhhhhh of the tube popping off. [:@]
get yourself another zip tie and you'll be good.

RE: Boost PSI
Ive pegged mine more times than I can count. . .that electronic wastegate can be a little slow on the open sometimes
still works good. . .before I installed it I put it next to the pneumatic pressure standard I have at work. . .it was less than 1psi out. so it was realy close. . .the EGT I had to tweak a bit, but was still good.
