Remember the folks that design them, don't have to work on them.

I use Wix Fuel and Oil Filter. 39 bucks for both. Drained the oil, changed fuel filter and done before oil was completely drained. Plug back on, changed oil filter and filled her up. Nice part is with 150k miles she doesnt use a drop of oil. My intervals are 6k for oil, 12k for fuel and clean my air filter the night before oil changes.

Cujo, if you worked in the oilfield you would know that. When I would go out to wellheads for fracs the company guys would have a list of how we would do things not knowing how much pressure is at the bottom of the well or if its filled with water or not. Its funny because last job I went on the well was said to be full of water. Well it wasnt and the pumps kept pushing more and more until it hit bottom and pressured up. We hit 6k pressure on pipes and our max pressure was suppose to be 5k. I hate working for people who sit in the office all day because they don't know jack squat what is really going on.

I know the new CAT motors with the ACERT had to switch to two smaller filters to make room for the DPF. Cummins probably had the same problem.
