wonder how much of that $80 is the EPA charges for having to 'dispose' of the diesel
The sad thing is when I take my used oil and filters to my local recycler I don't have to pay for disposal, it's just another charge the dealer passes on to you for being their valued customer.[:@]
Last time I bought oil from wally-world, they charged me an oil disposal fee. I don't know if thats just a state thing, or if the EPA charges for disposal at purchase.

I dont fill mine. . .I just let the lift pump fill it for me

BTW, Ive seen about 2 different ways to change the fuel filter on the 6.7's. from pulling the canister apart and changing the filter, to replacing the entire canister.

no it says in bold lettering DO NOT PRE FILL THE FILTER. i coated the o-ring with motor oil, screw in the canister, to prime the filter i followed the steps in the owners manual.

392 MAINTAINING YOUR VEHICLE
Priming if the engine has run out of fuel
1. Add a substantial quantity of fuel to the tank 5 to 10
gallons (19L to 38L).
2. Crank the engine for 1 to 2 seconds. If the engine does
not start, then release the key or starter button back to the
RUN position (do not turn the key back to the OFF
position). The electric fuel transfer pump will continue to
run and purge air from the system for about 25 seconds.
After 25 seconds, attempt to start the engine again.
3. Start the engine using the Normal Starting Procedure.
4. Repeat the procedure if the engine does not start.
CAUTION!
Do not engage the starter motor for more than 15
seconds at a time. Allow two minutes between the
cranking intervals.
NOTE: The engine may run rough until the air is forced
from all the fuel lines.

i have the 4X4 so there is enough space in the wheel well for me to lay on top of the tire so i don't have to remove it. wouldn't be able to do that on the 2WD. Uncomftorable but better then removing the tire.
