Cummins in other Rigs?
I was driving down the highway the other day and I saw two brand new Holiday Rambler motorhomes. They were trucking along at about 70 mph and they both had Cummins badges on them. Do these things use the 5.9/6.7 or something bigger? Just curious.
Thisjust got me thinking about my grandpa and how heused to have a 1950 Flxible Bus that was converted into a motorhome and it had a 4-cylinder Detroit Diesel. The thing would run 90 mph all day. It was a pretty sweet ride.

motor home up to about 36 feet will probably have the isb.Longer thenthat an it'll probably have the isc. You can now even get the isx in the big 40+ft ones.

Freightliner uses the ISB engines in their mid-line trucks. I've seen them in the FL50 and FL60 trucks. FedEx also uses the ISB in some of their delivery vehicles. There are plenty of RVs and a few boats that also have the 5.9 in them.
I know a guy that works in the lumber industry and he had a machine that looked like a back hoe, but it had a hydraulic claw on it instead of a bucket. It was used to pick up trees and load them into trucks. He claims it had a 5.9 in it also.
