Well this other dude does some really badd *** work and I would definatly only use someone of his tallent on my truck. He has seem what I want and quoted me just under $1000 to do just the tailgate.
I can almost get my T/C for that. I think I am just going to blow this idea off.

Well buzz it'd sure be bad azz man $500 isn't that bad IMO and you know he can paint that exact picture to...crazy, but the TQ conv. is an upgrade you may actually be usin...on the other hand the one you got ain't broken....yet

BTW, tried the Tow Haul trick and It made a huge difference, much better, I can still get it to slip if I get on it hard enough with T/H on....guess I just never noticed it before...

 

Yeah the more I think about my tranny, the more pissed I get. I am not pleased at all with the stock tranny in these trucks. I have so much potential but can only use a fraction of it, even the little bit I do use, it's still not getting put to the ground.
I will have my tranny set up right by the end of the year!!

My F*ck the wallet days are just about over! The wife has informed me that she thought I was going to surprise her Christmas morning with a brand new Hummer H3 sitting in the driveway. So I guess the next few thousand will be going for a downpayment in the near future.
I still don't know what I said to make her think that? So it will be a while before I can do any major upgrades. I was hoping the Tailgate would be under $500 so screw it for now.

H3's aren't that expensive. They are priced about like the Trailblazers are, thats what she's driving right now. She saw a black one when we were looking at CTD's and she drove it and fell in love.
