Thats the spirit buzzy....F*ck the wallet F*x the tranny! can I have your spare change for my truck fund...?
My F*ck the wallet days are just about over! The wife has informed me that she thought I was going to surprise her Christmas morning with a brand new Hummer H3 sitting in the driveway. So I guess the next few thousand will be going for a downpayment in the near future.
I still don't know what I said to make her think that? So it will be a while before I can do any major upgrades. I was hoping the Tailgate would be under $500 so screw it for now.
I'd think long and hard about an H3. My brother-in-law has one he might give you for nothing. It's a complete POS. It's been in the shop more times than you can count. Everytime they cant get the parts in to fix it and he has to wait till they come in. He hit a deer with it that looked like a couple hundred dollars in damage turned out to be 5K and 4 weeks till they tracked down all the parts. Just one person I know but do your homework on it.

Thanks for the heads up. Personaly, I don't like them and I have noticed that almost every dealer has 1 or 2 sitting on the used lot with only a few thousand miles.
I was trying to talk her into a Durango but she doesn't like how they look. But get this, she would rather have the Nitro over the Durango. Damn crazy woman!!
I will do my homework on that one, Thanks.

the reason i ask it i think my t/q is slipping. whats been happening lately is when i punch the tiny pedel on the right it seems to not all get to the tires. im not sure if its the cold weather or what but something is definetly wrong and im thinking its maybe from being stupid with the quad xzt i had (65 horse)....... does playing hard on the tow/haul setting get a better connection with the gears or something?!?!

I concur with behindbars. A guy I work with bought a used one.30000miles, fully loaded for $29,000. I've ridden in it a few times and while it's ok, it's no where near worth the money they get for it. We bought our durango with 9600 miles on it, Limited, Hemi, DVD, only thing it didn't have was the Navigation. $25000.

What about the Chrysler Aspen? Never really looked at them, but I like the looks. Otherwise...Nitro all the way.

She doesn't like the Aspen either. And damn!! 29,000 for a used one with 30k miles? The one we drove was a 2007 4x4 with 5000 miles and all power everything for $19,000. I don't know what is considered fully loaded but it was loaded enough for us. It had what I thought was the same v-6 in our Chevy Trailblazer but it seemed much slower and not much power. That was the main reason I steered her away from it at the time. In fact that may be where she thought I meant we'll get a new one next year? Oops!!

Yeah good luck on the name change...
Yeah missed ya
I seemed to have got the TQ slippin running a 70HP setting
T/H button was something Buzzy told me about cause it locks the TQ Conv. up in 1st- 3rd, that way I could tell if I was really slippin or not....

Actually Drew posted after that and told me I was full of Zhit..........lol. He says it only locks it up in 4th. I though it did it in all gears except 4th. He would know and I beleve him but it does feel like it slipps alot less with T/H ON.
I've got mine back on #3 and gonna leave it there, I see no power gains above there. there might be more power but like you said, I can't get it to the rear wheels!

Sorry to quote the wrong person or w/e I did there lol
Yeah I haven't tried my 100hp setting cause I can barely get the 70Hp to stick to the ground pry losin even more than I think too...
The T/H definately makes it slip less though....anyone know if thats bad on it to run it with T/H on alot? wouldn't think so....

that would be nice to know about the t/h being on more often.... everytime i launch the truck and it "slips" i think all kinds of crazy things! is there a gauge on the edge attitude that tells you if your trans is slipping or is there just a temp guage??
