ya i know i had to take it. even says on the reciept that it was 10 per tire and all. i talked to the other dealer and they charge 60 for the change and 15 for the tire rotation for all the tires. they do charge a little extra for a 1 ton but not that much. i talked to there service manager and he was like ya u got it big time. we always beat that dealerships prices for a mile.

did this just to save myself a 30 min trip and all. o well live and learn i guess.

Dude if you paid with a credit card I'd do a charge back. You clearly got double billed for the labor. 75 bucks for the oil chang and then another 60 for labor. Do a chageback and watch how fast the dealer clears it all up for ya.

My dealer charges $55 + tax & shop fee which = $60 out the door. Sometimes they have a service coupon to get it done for $5 less. But last time they did it, there was oil all over the frontunderside of the truck and theynever touched the tie rod ends with any grease. Had to go back to correct the problem, They cleaned it up and greased it. But WHY can't they do it right in the first place?

I do my own oil changes so I know it's done right! I inspect the oil, filter & drain plug, so I know what is going on with the motor.

The last time I took a vehicle to a dealer for some service of the fuel system on my old 1500 with a 360 in it, for "some reason" my oil pump died on the way home. GO FIGURE!?!? I guess the good news is, I ended up trading that in for my 2500 oil burner. No - I didn't buy the new truck from the same dealer. I got screwed on that deal - hard, with NO Vaseline. [:@]

Screw dealers - the good ones are few and far between. If you live near CT, the ONLY Dodge dealer that I would trust at this point is Robert's Dodge in Meriden. Anyone else have any feedback on Dealers in CT?
