well i got around and made an appointment to get my oil and filter changed in my 07.5 with the 6.7 in it. this is my first change and all and i wanted to take it to the dealer to have it done. well i got quoted a priced of between 65 to 75 for it. plus i wanted to rotate my tires. so anywayz they got done went to pay and the total was 175.00. i almost passed out. [:@]i threw a fit with the service manager for a min. payed and walked out of the dealer. this is not the dealer i got my truck from to begin with but i did talk to them over the phone so i think from now on im gonna take it to them even if i do have to drive 30 mins to get there, cause they said it would have been a total of 70 for all the same things i had the other dealer do. man i have never payed that much for a oil change or tire rotation before and hopefully wont ever have to again lol. anywayz thanks for reading my outrage lol [&:]

I have had big o do a package deal for me l.o.f. rotation and balance for a lot cheaper.. not it was a gasser 1 ton van.. but thats just insane what you paid!

 

How did they justify a $175.00 bill?

 

10 bucks to rotate my tires apiece.

then like 60 for labor. then the other 75 was for the oil change,filter and taxes. i was like it cost 40 bucks to rotate my tires?? the manager was like i had over sized tires so there a little more heavier. im running a 285 size tire stock is a 265. WOW. needless to say im not taking it back there for anything. i will go to the dealer i got the truck from.

 

Dude that blows. For sure forget that place. When they call for your satisfaction report, rip on that place; they deserve it.

 

Well most tire places rotate tires for free, just had to have the van tire plugged and I asked them how much to rotate them while they are at it and he told me free

 

$10 per tire, plus $60 for labor? Huh? If the $60 was for the labor to rotate the tires, what was the $10 per tire for (or vice versa)?? You already said the other $75 was for the oil change and so forth, so looks to me like they double ripped you on the rotation.

They don't call 'em stealerships for nothing...

Last L.O.F and tire rotation $63. $53 for the oil change and $10 to rotate the tires. A steal considering its a dually and two tires have to be broke down and remounted. This would be Feeny in Midland Mi.
