Wax SUCKS!!
I just got done clay barring and waxing my truck.I used Meguiar NXT wax and amvery Happy with it. Goes on easy, let it sit for about 15 minutes. Used 2 micro fiber towels to buff out, one to get the main stuff and the second to finish it off. Came off very easy.
How long does it take you guys to wax these trucks? Takes forever to get the bugs off and doa good washjob not to mention having to use a ladder to reach across the roof. I think I'm gonna pay a pro to detail it this spring.

In florida I wash it in the day then after sun goes down I take ICE detailin spray it takes off all the spots and such then wax it at night in an empty bay at the car wash since its lighted so I can see the smears, usually buff it again the next day cause some smears show up after direct sunlight hits it...so far worked great except it usually rains near everyday so water spots on the black is un-avoid-a-bull w/o a garage....

I paid about 150 bucks to have someone detail my wrnagler last year. It needed a pro though. I don't have good buffers and the coarser polishes that it needed. all i have is zaino which is ok at getting of small stuff but I needed more. she did that and touch ups to fix scratches. jeep looks amazing was more than happy with the results
o and a word of advice. find a woman detailer. women are some of the best detailers on this earth. they just have a good eye for it.
