Now if Dodge would just put a auto switch on their headlights and make it where when you turn your wipers on your headlights come on since it's law in some states that when your wipers are on you must have your lights on that would be the cats *** to me.

My 07 Jeep has this feature...it is really a pita some times...I keep turning it off.

David how different is the coding on the Jeep versious the Dodges?

If you mean can this feature be disabled. I believe that it can on the Jeep. The 2 vehicles have very similar features that can be turned on/off...

Can you see if through STAR it can be enabled in an 07.5 ram? That would be a nice little feature to have turned on.

Yes, I will check on the Hemi also. Will report the findings....

Hooked up the STAR scan to an 2008 1500 Hemi. There is a place to "enable headlights on with wipers" but when I tried to enable it, it said "this feature will only work if vehicle is equiped with automatic headlights" I tried it anyways and it would not let me continue. So it does appear that you have to have automatic headlights for this feature to work. But i don't see an option for the automatics on the RAM.
