The standard is what Mopar rebrands and uses. The stratapore is a better quality filter that filters finer particles. I run the stratapore personnally, not much of a cost difference when you consider the cost of your motor.

3 gallon of oil. Just one thing with Rotella, after you change the oil and run it for a while with the new oil, especially at idle, it will smell strong of oil from the vent tube. It will cease after a few hundred miles but it is rather strong.

I can't remember what the big difference is, but I went with and have been useing the Strat filter ever since Drew reccomended it. Who am I t question Drew ??

My truck uses 3 gallons of oil to do anoil change. I use regular ole Rotella.

Since you are ordering from Genos and you are doing an oil change, I HIGHLY reccomend that you get the flipper valve. Nobody that I know that has one regrets putting it on their truck. You'll love it, I promise.

I relocated my vent hose to the rear of my Ram useing regular ole 1" PVC. As a result, I no longer have smell and messy oil issues at all. Another one of those fun, eay to do, and inexpensive mods.

Hey Mayfair. Thought you might want to use this so your truck will last as long as your motor.

WOW I just noticed that Jimmy. I guess I gotta get under there with a paintbrush huh?

Aero, I've had it for almost a year now with no problems at all. Steve just got one recently as well. Those valves are AWESOME !!

You have to push the lever in (or pull it out I don't remember), then turn it down. It's got a tab on it to keep it from opening inadvertently. I have one as well, $25 can't beat it.
