I always spend mine on something boring, like IRA contributions. Maybe a case of Dewars 12-year old scotch, if I max out my contributions and there's enough left over!

I don't escrow my taxes in my mortgage so I put my refund in the bank and pay my other taxes whent they come, about $4500 worth. Uncle Sam giveth Uncle Sam taketh away.[:@] Might have enough left over for a little vacaction. If I'm lucky.

I wish I could say I was spending it on something exciting, but I'm actually going to max out my 2007 IRA and HSA with that money.

I've heard these rumors about an $800.00 refund. I'll believe it when I see it, but if I DO wind up with 800 smacks, I think I'm gonna get myself some of those slick wheels and tires like 59 got. I think they'd look pretty good on my truck.
From what I heard, if you make more than $40k you ain't gettin no $800. Or somewhere around there. There may be some tax breaks but that will be it if your over that threshhold.

Thats a bunch of horse ****!!! Here they go again kicking the middle class why they are down. I usually get 4 to 5 g's back, since I got married and now have a combined income I think I jumped a tax bracket. I always put my refund towards a loan. It sucks but its really helped down the road. Im done ranting.

I know Bush tried to eliminate the MARRIAGE TAX years ago. I do not recall if it was abolished 100%. but yea, when ya got married, they automatically taxed you MORE !!
