I took my bed off and saw on the contact plate for my gauge, bout the half way mark it was messed up so that had to be the problem, The auto parts store only sell the assembly with a fuel pump set up with it for an aftermarket setup but I got a used one in good shape for 40 which I think it had been replaced so it wasnt that old I saw online for the float and contact plate it was like 95 with shipping
