2000 3500 dually question
I have a 2000 dodge ram 3500 4x4 diesel dually 1 ton and i have a thumping issue when i hit any bump. it is like something is coming up and hitting the floor pan. i can't seem to find anything loose underneath. i just replaced the track bar, pitman arm, and tie rod end 4 months ago and then i did the front hub assembly with bearings about 6 months ago. i started to notice this about a month ago when i put my meyers plow on. but this problem continues when the plow is off as well.
any help would be appreciated
thanks

maybe could it be your ball joints? I have some nosie to that my truck makes when I hit bumps, I thought it was my ball joints and replaced all them and it wasn't
Mine made a clunking noise when I bought the truck, turned out to be the front shocks (they were still the original ones from the factory). Replaced them with a new set and the noise went away.
The other day mine was making a loud bang noise under my butt when I went over a bump. I finally remembered I had left the trailer hitch in the reciever. Once I took it out, the noise stopped
check to make sure the little rubber sleeves are still on your rear overload springs, my dually will do the same thing when i loose one, and i do lose one now and then, when that overload slaps the stop it sends that noise right down the frame and under your butt, the first time mine did it it took me forever to find it!

I have the exact same noise as allextremes. Drives me crazy. I think I'll check my body mounts to see if the rubber is worn. If anyone else has this problem and has the solution please let me know. I bet it just might be the rubber bushings worn out. Good suggestion.
