the last i heard (several months ago), NI filed suit against ford for manufacturing a small diesel on their own that was the NI design...somewhere in the neighborhood of $1B. that was right after ford sued NI for warranty costs on the 6.0L. ford also stopped payment on 6.4 engines and NI quite supplying them....the court told ford to pay and NI to keep sending engines until a settlement could be reached. i have no idea where things stand now...but like i said, that's the last i heard in the news and that was several months ago.
