What year do you got? 04.5 and up have a 4" w/cat &muffler where as the 04 down have a catless 3.5" with muffler...

I'd go straight 4" that way you just gotta delete the CAT and Muffler assuming your 04.5 up that would keep it cheaper than a whole system. They tend to keep quite even straight, but you'll get a much deeper tone, lil louder, and hear the turbo whine alot more. I'll pry kill my CAT soon

Buzzy has a video clip before and after his Aero 4040 install he can pry hook ya up with that

Yep, here ya go. This is the Aero 4040XL on an 07' with the 5.9L
I am a little biased because it's mine and I think it sounds Bad Azz.

From what I understand, you want the "crack"of the mechanical injection pump. You're not really going to be able to that with your 03+ HPCR. The setups listed above sound great and you'd probably be happy. I've got a 5" Magna flow setup going into dual 4" right now (no cat, Magnaflow muffler) and its great.

i am also running the aeroXL and i love it! my set up is the down pipe, the aero muffler, then a turn down tip so mine is a pretty short set up but it sounds GREAT! you will not get a turbo whine out of these trucks like you will out of the powerstroke, im not sure why but its a diffrent set up. im sure if you go straight pipe with an after market air intake you would get a better whine, but thats just going by what ive heard from reading other post's.

I planned on getting an Aero ever since I heard the video on this forum. I was at Summit last weekend and they had a 4" Borla on the clearance table for $60. Couldn't pass it up. Has anyone heard their sound? I hope I made a good purchase. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku
