and is 1200 bout has high as u would go on a pre
turbo install thanks for the info

 

Don't push down on the accelerator pedal as far.

Seriously, cold air intake, larger exhaust line and better muffler, larger intercooler. Thats about all I know of to lower EGTs. I run mine all the way up to 1300-1350, but not for long periods of time. I think the highest it ever got to was 1405 and I backed off real quick.

yeah but else u do some high hp u dont need that,go bigger exaust,bigger intake and turbo does alot for this too

 

with my new power puck, ive seen numbers as high as 1460[:@]

 

well even whit my new turbo if my edge is set to 5-5 i will reach over 1450 but this is whit a programmer,100hp sticks

 

So what should I let my temp get up to before I
get out of it. Would a leak in a turbo boot make
higher egts? Thanks for all the help guys!!!

 

Like Cowboy Bob says, over 1300 back out..................thats a pre turbo installation.......
