troubles started about 1 week after i tapped the pump....

this time ill go whit a airdog or fass and still keep my aux as fail safe....
Are you sure you tapped the right wire on the 44? I'm sure you did, but it doesn't hurt to check

Also, Bob is right, you don't want to push that much fuel to your 44.

When you are ready, I'd go with a FASS over a dog. Their customer support is second to none.
yup mayfair i bough the stealth cover to make sure everything is perfect,it run very well when its started but hard time to start now

Yeah that stealth cover is the way to go. I wish I knew about it before I did my install.

I'm still a little confused abou this 40 psi. Isthat fuel pressure or oil pressure?

So are both pumps running when you try to start the truck? I know your switch is supposed to kick in at 40PSI, but are you sure it is working that way?

You are one paranoid **** Bob !!
Let's just say that you won't see me broken down on the side of I-75 with 2 horses and a deadlift pump,on a Sunday afternoon, in Georgia, with no repair shops open, ever again.

i just installed an airdog 150 gph pump and it is working awesome. the install was extremely easy and the truck is running much better than before. i would definitely recommend the airdog! the customer support for airdog is also very good. the guy i talked to was very knowledgeable and actually had a 2nd gen truck!

I guess if it's happened to you once before, I could see how you would be nervous. I tend to forget how things are once you get away from the city. Here in the city there seems to be part stores and help available ( at a price ) on every corner.

nan bob,my original pump gave it soul last week so i wired the 2nd pump to start as soon the key is turned to ON position whit a relay,so i ordered a fass 150 to cut this, but since the engine
need cranking a couples sec more than it did before there is something else... ill check my fuel filter and install the fass,a fuel pressure gauge ,than after if its still doing this ill see but truck run fine at any RPM...
