heaviest towing
I put my truck on the CAT scales a while back with just one horse in the trailer, no diesel in the aux tank, and no hay or gear on the trailer. We weighed 22k. I bet when I go on a long trip and have gear, horses and hay I'm at about 24-25k.
Last summer after fueling up,(85 gal. total), family of 4, truck and camper weighed in at a cat scale with 26,660 lbs. Not bad, but the kicker was that I drove from New Orleans to Yellowstone and back which amounted to near 5,000 miles through the flat lands as well as the mountains.
No doubt that I had some lingering inner thoughts of depair, but none the less we rolled back home just fine.

WOW 50K that is unbelievable I'm sure if the DOT would have gotten you someone would have gotten a raise in that department. Here in our state we need a CDL at 26,000 GVW or over. Or with anything that has airbrakes. Regardless of weight. I'm sure you have one right???
Mine has been:
Truck 8500lbs over scale with me in it and my tool box on the back
Trailer 6000#
Backhoe loader 21,000#
total of 35,500
Aint nothin for a Dodge!!
