Volume/Flow and PSI are two very different animals. They can either compliment or hamper each other depending on the design of the environment they operate in.

When my truck was stock, turbo spooled up at 2100 rpm's. Installed a TST unit only, it started spooling up at 1600 rpm's.
Installeda Banks turbo housing, exhaust, intake and guages. Then truck started spooling up at 1900 rpm's. called Banks got the total run around. Talked to 4 Differnt engineers, no one could give me a answer.
Drove around like that for about 6 months. One day I decited to to put the stock turbo housing back on and truck started spooling up back at 1600 rpm's again. Needless to say I'm not impressed by Banks!
