Have a 99 2500 CTD 4x4 and tackling the ball joint's this weekend and checking to see if people that replaced them in the past used a universal ball joint press or know the size of the installation tubes needed to press them back in. Also is there a good detailed write up?? I did the search but not the greatest info. I have replaced them on D44 axles but the hubs and spindles came off alot easier than these will/do. Thanks for the help.

if you havent looked yet. . .head over to TDR, I believe someone over there has done a write up on them.

 

Just replaced mine on my 04, not sure what the difference in axles are but used a basic ball joint press kit, no real problems other then breaking the one speed sensor. I put the moog greasible in, I only wish they made a non-adjustabel upper.
