its your money that is being spent but why on earth would you put so much time and money into your truck and not want the best for it if the smarty SR. is too much why not the smarty JR. quality speaks for itself not saying anything bad about diablo sport preditor or any other edge, bullydog, etc.....but have you ever heard someone turn down a smarty due to it screwing up there truck in my case the mileage is good and and egt's dont get extremeand that seems to be the norm for most everyone i talk to

ORIGINAL: globemountain

Anyone have experience with the Superchips Flashpaq for the 5.9 Cummins. I have a 2007 2500 5.9 that I am considering adding a programmer to, mainly to optomize my fuel economy. Any advice?
welcome to DF...

check out this thread i have running to keep track of mileage on different settings...

the biggest boost you can make to your mileage is to get a boost gauge and make every effort to keep you boost levels below 10 psi IMO... my last run I had the power turned up an extra 60~75 hp & torque 150??? or so and while keeping my boost levels down, I managed 18.8 mpg out of my last tank.
