H&k makes a nice rifle but the pistols are overpriced and not worth the headache. my Kimber.45 accurate as hell and i will always keep the glocks. i dont like the multiple dummy safetys on theXD even though it shoots well. And dont get me started on S&W autos "may as well throw it at them"realy good revolvers though.oh well just my oppinion.

BTW i dont think glocks will ever be considered POO[]and dont get mud in the grip safty on XD or you will be left helpless, had it happen thats why i sold all 3 i had 9mm .40 and .45. Had my glocks for 10 years never had a problem and i carry every day

 

i11m10c2, i don't think i could find a complaint about my hk (at this point) if i tried. as for accuracy, dead on to an easy 25 meters, durability gets a 10+ insofar as my ownership, and reliability gets top marks: over 5000 rounds without a single jam or misfire and without a single cleaning session. not very responsible as an owner, i know, but i am doing this actually for that specific purpose. my other guns, and the guns i borrow when i am out with friends at the range are cleaned religeously. also, for my hand, i haven't found a better, more comfortable fit. that said, i am buying either a glock 19 or 26 in the very near future, as that is a close second! and of course, this is, all my own opinion. as for the xd, the novelty of the dual firing saftey wears off very quickly. after the glock, my next gun will probably be the fn herstal Five_seveN. not a very comfortable gun in hand, but very fun to shoot as it is a rifle velocity round from a pistol that weighs less and has less recoil than a 9mm and holds 20 rounds in a magazine! after that i think is the remington 700 .308. these are my plans to the end of march. all right, i'll shut up now. or not. i do have a question for other ccl people: whats the most comfortable carry holster of complete concealability you guys have come across? i'm not a large frame person so that weighs in as a factor... i havent been able to find anything that will comfortably conceal anything but my walther p22, and then i just put it in a pocket as it is the 3.4 inch barrel. all right, now i will shut up.

No one get their panties in a bunch,I was kidding about the glock being poo. I dont personally care much for them and I tested both out before buying and the xd felt much better to me. The xd went through all the same torture tests as the glock and did just as good (wish I could find the article). I own xd40 sub compact and xd45 service model (14rds of .45 in mag). I still have the first gun I got for christmas at the age of 7 which was my ruger mk1 .22 cal. 2 of my favorites are the AR15 and ak47, if I am in the mood to destroy some stuff. For medium rangeand ultimate power I love the .444 marlin.

 

Kevin. I am going to get a gun safe. currently I have it lockd up in aplace that I only have access to. My mustang. Ihave the only set of keys. as far as other brands of guns go, I have not really dealt with guns since I was a kid (the wrong way) and I like the feel of this gun so I am happy.

its a POLICE issuede side arm. city insignia engraved in it.

it is set up to fire with or without mag in place...


thats one hell of a deal he got on the side arm.

he ran the serial number through the city pd from where it was issued. it is NOT stolen..thank goodness...

Glock 26 for me. Carried it for about 10 years now. Don't know how many boxes of shells I've shot through it but is has never misfed.

 

You guys better be careful about giving away your secrets on here. I found out my wife was reading DF at work and looking at all of the stuff I was posting. I found out when she came home one day and asked me when I was going to get rid of that stupid picture of me riding my horse.
