i have edge juice attitude hot unlock.obviously i get smoke on level 5 but i tried something else. i put it to stock and i layed on it and i had black smoke. Do u get smoke on level 0 stock? cause i do. maybe it had been programmed by previous owner and im stacking now.

im still getting egts as high as 1400 on stock level 0 empty.

 

I might be mistaken, but I think the edge always has the boost fooler going. Again, I could be mistaken

 

My guess is bad injector... you have one or more that is over fueling.

 

I have never seen someone start so many threads on so many forums questioning so many parts of the same issue. Have you ever pulled the edge out completely as suggested on said other forum about 50 times to narrow down your issues?

 

with that being said brings questions to my "horrible" fuel mileage investigation... look at the way the manifold spacer rings are bluing.... they are uneven and if you start counting fron the front, #2 and #3 looks to have the most heat.... maybe a sign of over fueling?!?!

 

whos engine is that? why would I disconnect edge juice? when i put it to stock it should be stock not level 6 HOT. When i drive around in town I can see spurts of 30 psi (without pinching visegrips now) but it drops off. to me its wastegate related or air leak.how could it be injector on common rail if theres no codes? Do you mean just clean the tips?

 

its my engine, and sorry to jack your thread because now that i look at it.... it kinda seems that way. but i have no clue why you are still shooting black smoke, my truck will put out a real LIGHT haze when i stomp on it while shes on stock but nothing really heavy.

 

mines a light haze to on stock. Gets more thick as i go up to level 6 but nothing severe. I did some testing today. I still hit high egts so i used a new pyro from edge. still same results.So then i totally disconnected pyro and my screen just read 75F for a egt (because it was disconnected). and i could see a spurt of 35 psi for boost now on level 1 and it seemed to have more kick now because it wasnt defueling. only thing is its still running hot i know it.

 

Completely off the topic here, but sallyman, have you done ANY work to your tranny to work with the Edge? Especially with the Level 6 unlock. I really want to invest in the same setup, but I'm nervous about killing my drive train. Anything you can suggest here? My truck has 104,000 on the odo too, if that makes a difference.
