Default Ok Mayfair, here are your pics.

Here are the pics from my broken flexplate and transmission adapter plate.

I don't see where the problem is. Maybe you can help?

For Mayfair, here is a guide for you.

The white circle is the crack.
The red circle is where your starter bolts to.
The blue circle the guy said was used on some other application.
The green circle is where you would insert you barring tool to turn the motor with a ratchet handle.

Here's some pics.

Hey DD, nice job brotha! You should send those parts to Chyrsler with a note reading: "Not good enough try again". I guess since you're posting again your paws have healed? Glad to see you back again. Oh and I'd like to know if you caused the failure or it just flexed one too many times too.

My hands are still extremely painful. I just had a round of injections last week. I wish things would get better but it's not happening. I would have loved to install the plate and adapter myself. Just don't have the endurance.

As far as WHY the flexplate broke, that can be summed up in one word........

TORQUE.

Come and get yourself some. ...........lol.

Here is what the new plate looks like.

The factory flexplate also has only 6 bolt holes where it bolts to the tc. The ATS tc has 12 bolt holes on it, as does their flexplate. The picture must be a generic one. The tranny guy was very impressed with the ATS converter, and now their flexplate. You have to see it in person. It's massive.....lol.

Ok guys, good luck with your rides.

you may have an unknown advantage with that ATS flex plate. since it is thicker and beef-ier I'm willing to bet you gaind some torque due to rotational mass increasing

The Sidewinders are available, but I like the Velociti 8's better, due out at the end of this month .......so I'm told. Here's the site again..... http://www.weldracing.com/wheels/wheels.asp

I met a dude from your end of the country at the Disney campground, had an 05' 2500 with the Rickson's 19.5's. Those wheels/tires looked AWESOME, damn near bullet proof.

When everything comes together, I'm going to try to sell the old rims and new Michelins locally. Only a few thousand miles on them.
