Is the pullers you broke sort of u shaped? they do break all the time. The one I use now is a cup type from snapon other tool mfg have then also but the ones you get from the budget guy's just wont cut it on a big truck maybe a toyota or a old car but when trucks got larger they just dont cut it

 

one was the u shaped type & the other had adjustable arms. the u shape one snapped & the adj. arm one bent the part that grabbed the arm
