You do have the manual trans right? Email me chris7694@gmail.com I'll send you a full writeup with pics and part#. Very easy to do andonly takes a few minutes. The dealer would want $400 to install the wire. Since you're gonna DIY the wire andonly gonnaneed a flash at the dealer it shouldn't cost you anymore than $30 to $75 is what I've heard reported... I'd bump it up to 1100 rpms for overnight and forget about it. I only use faster than that to warm up or cool down the cab on startups...

FYI, only the trucks with the V pump can go in to 3 cylinder mode aka 3 cylinder shuffle.ORIGINAL: 12valveman
