Did they make them fora 97?

I'm not even sure they were an option for 98's.

hey the ones for the trucks you want will work from any model that is a 2002 or older pickup the only thing you need is to remember to get the reenforcement plate that goes with them. have gotten a pair of them for my 96 from a salvage yard and the only thing you have to do is change the connector for the wiring and they bolt right up and plug right in. just have to remove the door panel is all. any other ?'s let me know.

I can say from experience that this design is very affective. I like the horizonal position for everyday driving. They look small enough not to protude out like Ford's "dumbo ears". Very well propotioned in realationship with the shape of the truck.

When towing the 5'ver, and the mirror's are swung up vertical, they give me a good view from street to sky.

What's the real cool thing about this design is the remote angle adjustment. When the mirrors are horizonal, the left-right, up-down adjustment is as indicated on the door switch. The first time I swung the mirrors vertical, I thought........humm, now I have to compensate for the 90 degree change to re-adjust the mirror view. Not so.........the intenal gizmo factors this info in and the door switches still control left-right and up-down accordingly. Very cool.

I mentioned this for those of you that do not have this design. Certainly the folks here that do have this design are aware of this already.

I think Parts/service would be the man for this. I remember him getting them for a few guys.

As with mine, they're only heated, not power operated. Manual to raise and lower.

i don't think that they have them that are power to raise and lower. i mean power as in will move with the switch inside the cab. i hate having to roll the windows down and adjust them all the time since occasionally my dad drives my truck too. the heated part is just nice to have to because it is nice having the ice melt off of the mirrors instead of not being able to see.
