Default Removing dash?

When I bought my 06 the underseat box for my subs from my 04 fit perfectly still. well they've been under the seat since like Oct. or Nov...Kinda wierd having all that money invested in something thats not even hooked up...

Well I haven't spent much time on it but think I'll drill for my power wires today.

Where are the points to pop off the dash or where are the hidden screws? I've got the new style dash w/floor console, heres a crappy pic from my phone.

That was gonna be my question. Good question Aero. What kind of a box do you have?

I am wondering that also. I tried to get it apart a few minutes ago to route the xm wires and nothing. I pulled hard enough that I know there has to be some screws because any harder and it would have broken.

I have the folding cup holder, but the rest looks the same. Under the cubby that is between the cig outlet and the power outlet there should be 2 screws under there. Once the 2 screws are out, the whole bezel pops out. It is kinda hard to get started, but once you get a corner popped the rest is easy. Hope this helps.

I just went through this, there are a PITA 2 screws that come up from the bottom and secure the bottom of the radio bezel. To get to them you have to remove the 4x4 shift ****, then the boot around the shifter then pop out the black drink holder and the little tray in front of the black drink holder inserts. Remove the screws to take out the plastics around the shifter and you can then get to the 2 screws.

try an early 90's 4runner... just start at the right side of the glove box by the passenger door and remove every bolt and screw you can find till you get to the steering column... first you have to remove the glovebox, then the part of the dash that holds the glove box, then a few little pieces ov varios console and dash parts, then you remove all your a/c controls and wiring harnesses, THEN you can finally get to the bezel for your radio.[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@] we had two of them[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

My previous '06 had the fold down cup holder...much easier. Next bit of advice is to leave the 2 screws out so you can just pop the bezel off if you need to later, trust me, it holds just fine without them.
