Default Guys with campers ...

Do you know how to remove this? I want to replace the border wallpaper behind it but I can't figure out how to remove it. The face on it peels off like a sticker so I didn't want to remove that, and that tab on the left didn't budge easily so I didn't force it until I spoke with someone who might know.

Anyone know ??

Mine was a different brand of monitor, but on my old trailer.

You pushed the tab over on the left, and the whole face plate was on a hinge, and opened from left to right. that exposed the screwes behind it, and the disconnect for the wires. You undid the screws, and the whole unit moved up, and the botom pulled out, the you slid the whole unit down and out.

Like i say, that was on my old fleetwood, but it is worth a shot.

a guy here at work wants to know if you pused the tab in at all? that was his .02

Sorry can't help. But I can post a picture of a guy holding a big azz screwdriver that would probably be able to get it off for ya.

JD, I didn't mess with the tab much at all. After prying the faceplate and finding out that it was pretty much just a sticker I kinda got nervous to push my luck. I wanted to get some help from someone who knew a little more before going too far.

I looked at mine, It has small snaps on the plate that mounts to the wall, The outer cover presses onto it, I had to pull outwards on one side while pulling on it, it came off..........

I believe the one in my camper looks extremely similar. Furthermore, I think I can get to the back of mine (it's mounted under the sink). I store it at a buddy's house and won't be able to get there until this weekend. I'll let you know what I come across.

The monitor panel attaches to the wall with four supplied #4 flat head screws and the faceplate with the circuit board snaps into the bezel over the screws for a very clean appearance.

Griff you ROCK !!

I'm still a little confused though. It sounds like a two piece installation with one piece being screwed to the wall, and another snapping over it. Does that mean that I should work a screwdriver behind the cover and it should pop off? The whole faceplate is one piece and it runs all the way tight to the wall. I'm assuming that the piece that's permanently mounted is inside of the faceplate with the faceplate overlapping it.

Sound right?

Sound right Mayfair. Its just like some furnace thermostats. Base gets screwed to the wall and a face plate snaps right over. If you can't snap it off there is alway this tool.
