I am just above a half tank right now, and I have to drive a long distance tomorrow, so I looked at the price of Diesel at my nearest station. $3.59 in Killeen Texas. Jesus Christ!!!!! It is over .50c more expensive that regular unleaded, and Diesel is a bi-product of gasoline! What the hell is our country coming to!?!

So, I wan't to know what the price of diesel is where you are. Everyone post the current price in your town.

 

$3.75 here in Lima, Ohio. The reason the cost of diesel goes up in the winter is because heating oil is in higher demand in the winter. When summer comes back around, it will go down some (or the way prices are going up, it just wont go up anymore lol.)

 

3.49 to 3.70 in Southern MI. I hope its going down I'm looking to buy a CTD!

 

i got lucky today to find 3.89 here in michigan..... most stations are at 3.99 already[:@]

 

Phoenix area..$3.59 - $3.69+

 

3.61 at the flying J in Great Falls... I thought I had it bad, some of you guys have it much worse

 

3.50-3.60 at most of the truck stops. 3.89 at the smaller stations.

Anybody else notice that a diesel engine is about 20% more efficient than a gasoline engine and now diesel prices are about 20% higher than gasoline prices. Coinicidence, I think not! Ibelieve that the gas companies have just now figured this out and with the new wave of better diesels theyare afraid of people switching. One way or another they are going to get thier money from us. Kinda takes away one of the benefits of a diesel.

 

3weeks ago I found it in Auburn, WAfor $3.15!! I couldnt believe it, filled up at least twice. Now though I jsut drove by a 76 and it 3.99

 

Just filled up at 3.89 in San Diego.
