So what a buck for every KB of download speed

hehehee not to make you feel bad or anything but I don't even remember the last time I was pass'n traffic that slow. Heck my cellular data card pushes faster than that and it's slow.
Net 2.0 has to be killing you on that speed. I feel for you really I do....do you want me to print out the internet and mail it to ya?

It's not just the connection speed itself, it's the line latency that really kills it. You get, on average, higher than a 600ms latency time and it drops too much info. The place isa communications black hole.....I'm on the very farthest edge of all the satellite coverage in the region.
You should see my DirectTV dish. The thing is nearly horizontal. If a nice, white, fluffy cloud comes over, I lose the signal.
Let's put it this way, it's cheaper for me to call the US on a cell phone than it is to even use Skype.
Oh well, there are lots of other ways to amuse myself down there. It just means I actually get out of the damn house and off the computer. [:-]
