255/85-16??

Default 255/85-16??

Okay ive got a couple questions as usual okay i was wondering if 255/85-16's would fit under my truck it has no lift and is a dually im running 245/75-16 now yeah i knw some dummy put them on before i got my truck why would someone go with a smaller tire? would the bigger tires cause any problems in example rubbing or when i load my truck up with the 30 foot toy hauler will the duallys rub?

if you have a fair amount of distance between the rear tires then you should be ok without any spacers

well right now loaded with the camper bikes water etc i still have around an inch and a quater with the two fourty fives

I've been wanting to change tire sizes, but do not want the spacers on the truck. No one can seem to tell me for sure what size will fit without the spacers, all they say is buy and mount them, then we'll see! Hell with that. Still waiting on some 19.5's

yeah im with you on the 19.5's i want them soo bad but dang their pricey!

I ran 255/85 r16s on my 02 and loaded with 3k of granite in the back there was still plenty of room between the duals.

As you can see, they're a little close, but I've ran these on 3 different trucks like this, and have never had a problem. These are BFG Mud Terrains.
