I have a similar problem, but i don't think it's the same

With the truck running, when I get out of it and go around to the passenger side, the door is locked. I have to run back around to the drivers door to unlock it. [:@]

When I turn the truck off though, all doors unlock, so I don't think it's the same problem as Woli.

hey mayfair you have to disable the rolling locks on your truck other wise there is no way to unlock the truck door when you put it into park the only way your drivers door is unlocked is because you lifted the inside handle to leave. wish we hadthe same feature as the chevys that when you put it into park it unlocks the doors

I think you are right 12v.

I thought about it some more as I was trying to fall asleep ( Thank you very much !! [:@]) and I realized that yeah, my door probably WAS locked but I didn't realize it because it unlocks itself when I get out. When I roll up to pick someone up ( with the truck still running ), I have to unlock their door every time.

Mine works like Mayfair's. When I get to 15mph both doors lock. When I stop/shut off the truck nothing happens. I like it that way instead of any of the doors unlocking.
Nickolette mentioned the locking when the key is turned forward. My doors won't lock if the key is in the ignition. (BTW, I likeyour avitar!!)

It's a safety feature so somebody can't come mug you at a stoplight. I deactivated mine the day I picked it up. Always a pain because you never remember to unlock before you get out and try to open the passenger side. The guys that have 03 & newer can also program their remote transmitter to unlock all four doors when you press the button instead of just the drivers door.

woli you will probably have to change the settings on your remote starter to get it to stop locking like that. most-likely the bcm and theremote starter are fighting and when youshut the feature offin the bcm then the remote starter still does it. when i bought my truck the auto lock was on and i hated it. fortunately since my dad used to be a jeep dealer he still has the DRBIII so i was able to disable the lock feature and enable the horn chirp when the doors lock with the key fob.
