when i run whit beasty as soon i hit the brakes the doors locks,and as soon i turn the key off only the driver door unlock,so if i dont think about it and go other side to pick up tools etc i have to reach for my keys werever i left them....

is there a mean to get both doors to unlock?

 

yeah press the unlock switch on the door as you get out

what i hate even more is when someone goes in the truck and locks the doors buy turning the key to see the time and without knowing that it does that closing the door[:@] does all your trucks have that same option??

 

that is an option that on the newer trucks if you read the owners manual you can deactivate it or change it to unlock all on woli's truck i dont think you can . check the owners manual otherwise it has to be taken to the dealer to be deactivate through the central timer module or some call it the body controller take a look and let us know

to turn off automatic rolling door lock

1) close all of the doors
2) place the key in the ignition and cycle the key from the off postion to the on position for a total of four times ending in the on postion, do not start the engine
3) press the driver's side power door lock switch to lock the doors within 30 seconds
4) You will hear a single chime when the programming is completed and the automatic door lock feature will be deactivated.
5) to enable feature again, fallow the same steps

Do you happen to know if you can deactivate the seatbelt code for an 05 using a similar process or does that have to be taken to the dealer?

 

I have no clue on the seatbelt. Give parts/service a holler. He'll be able to tell you if it is even possible.

 

Just turn the key on and fasten and unfasten 3 times you here a chime and the seat belt chime is off
