Steering problem

RE: Steering problem
12valveman,
I jacked the front end up and grabbed ahold of the top and bottom of each wheel and tried to rock them back and forth. No play....at least this is the way I was shown on my Jeep on how to check the U-joints.
I did go to a large empty parking lot yesterday and tried a bunch of different turns, stop and go turns, fast turns, you name I tried it. Once I was done I really did not feel the problem in the steering any more....not sure why but, I am hoping that maybe it was just a break in thing with the new steering box....thanks.

RE: Steering problem
hey bozz thanks for the response back hope the problem is gone for you. if it returns i would still be looking at those front axle ujoints maybe by doing alot of turning may have loosened it up enough if it was starting to seize. just a note for the future bozz hey thanks again for the reply back and like i said hope it does not return again.
