Default ot..running river in AZ!!!

this is Gilbert Rd crossing the Salt River in Mesa, AZ. they built the "temporarary" road with 3 huge culverts for minor flow underneath. well, the rain we had recently over filled the resevior so they had to open the flood gates...

Sweet. They are building a temporary bridge across oak creek in Sedona as well. The next time the creek hit 10,000cfs kiss the bridge good bye. They blocked the usual take out with crappy tractors and junk.

The creek was flowing around 1000cfs today for the best flow I have ever paddled oak.
